More and more Western companies will be willing to work with Russia over the next three to five years due to the big business opportunities the country presents, Michael Goddard, the president of the Netley Group, told Sputnik.
"I do think that a lot of Western companies are looking for alternative ways to work with Russia because they want to be in Russia … There are a lot of friendly people in the West that want to work with Russia. And over the next three or five years, I think, you will see a lot of that [businesses in the West wanting to work with Russia]," Goddard said.
The entrepreneur opined that Russia is the best business opportunity in the world, especially given recent progress achieved in developing trade and other economic ties within BRICS.
"Since the beginning of the special military operation [by Russia in Ukraine], there is also an opportunity to bring back industries [in Russia] that were lost in the 90s and develop new industries — tourism, technology, all these different things … Moscow and all of Russia are tremendously well-placed to attract investment," the Netley Group president also stated.
The Netley Group is a recently established company founded in Russia by US entrepreneur Michael Goddard. The company is involved in attracting investment into different industries in Russia. Its goal is to bring in $1 billion into the country over the next months and years, Goddard said. The Netley Group is also in talks on exploring and using various trade mechanisms to expand investment flows to the country.
