The state-owned media group said it was "surprised by this provisional suspension… which is depriving the Gabonese of two of their main sources of reliable and independent information."
French media reported on Saturday that Gabon would be put into a nightly curfew from Sunday following a general election. An internet blackout was reportedly in place since Saturday.
The Central African nation went to the polls over the weekend to elect a new president and parliament. Incumbent President Ali Bongo Ondimba is seeking a third seven-year term and is challenged by economist Albert Ondo Ossa and a dozen of other candidates.
