Iran and South Africa agreed to facilitate the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) in trade and investment, according to a joint communique published on Thursday.
"In order to facilitate trade, investment and economic cooperation both parties agreed to facilitate the signing of government-to-government MOUs," the document stated.
In addition, these documents will cover a joint economic roadmap, trade facilitation as well as export credit guarantee and export credit insurance.
Both countries also agreed to further cooperate in the fields of environment, defense, agriculture and transport, among other matters.
