Death Toll in Shelling of Village in Russia’s Bryansk Region Increases to Two: Governor

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A Ukrainian shelling of the Chausy village in Russia’s Bryansk Region on Thursday killed two people, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said.

Earlier in the day, Bogomaz said that the shelling killed one person and injured two others.
"Unfortunately, one more man died from the wounds received as a result of the shelling of the village of Chausy. As of now, actions of the Ukrainian armed forces resulted in deaths of two civilians," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.
A day earlier, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of Russia's neighboring Belgorod Region, revealed that a Ukrainian shelling of the Gorkovski settlement in the region killed one person and injured four more.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian shelling in Donetsk killed three people and injured 11 others, Denis Pushilin, acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic, said.

On the same day, the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes said in a statement that Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic 28 times over the past day, firing 100 rounds of ammunition.
At least 228 children have died in Ukrainian artillery strikes on Donbass since the conflict erupted in 2014 and their number keeps growing, according to Pushilin's July statement.
