The attack on the Crimean Bridge was carried out by the Kiev regime, the decision on the attack was made by Ukrainian officials and the military with the participation of the US and UK special services, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"Today's attack on the Crimean Bridge was committed by the Kiev regime. This regime is terrorist and has all the signs of an international organized criminal group," Zakharova wrote in her telegram channel. "Decisions are made by Ukrainian officials and the military with the direct participation of American and British intelligence agencies and politicians," she added.
The diplomat stressed that the United States and the United Kingdom "are leading a terrorist state structure."
Earlier, the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee, stated that Kiev carried out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge using two underwater drones, as a result, the road part of the bridge was damaged, two adults were killed, one child was injured.
According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, the injured child has a closed craniocerebral damage, a moderately severe state.
The Russian Ministry of Transport reported that the roadbed on the spans of the Crimean Bridge was damaged from the peninsula side. The structures of the spans themselves are still on their pillars, the Ministry of Transport noted.
Emergency services are working at the scene. Law enforcement agencies are carrying out the necessary operational and investigative actions.
