Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recently stated at a briefing in Moscow that the ministry's leadership, pertinent departments, as well as heads of major Russian business organizations and companies would take part in this event.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is presiding over a key Business Council meeting in the nation's capital, Moscow.
The Business Council meeting is devoted to fostering trade and economic cooperation with African countries and is being held in preparation for the second Russia-Africa summit scheduled for July 27-28.
