Uganda's coffee export value jumps 83.4% year-on-year in January, driven by high global coffee prices, according to the agriculture ministry.In January, Uganda exported 550,341 60-kg bags of coffee worth $156.5 million, representing an 83.4% rise in value compared to the same month in 2024, as reported by the Ministry of Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF).The volume of coffee shipments increased by 14.4% compared to the same period last year.
