Russian Rospotrebnadzor, a consumer rights and human welfare watchdog, is monitoring information about a suspected case of hemorrhagic fever in Sierra Leone and controlling epidemiological risks, Rospotrebnadzor said in a press statement.Sierra Leone is reportedly investigating a suspected case of acute viral hemorrhagic fever after the death of a woman who was a medical worker in the west of the country's capital, Freetown. At checkpoints across state borders, the service's specialists identify citizens with signs of infectious diseases, including those arriving from countries with unfavorable epidemiological situations, the statement added.The situation is under control of Rospotrebnadzor, the service stressed.
