DOHA (Sputnik) - Shaheen called on Afghanistan's neighboring countries "not to allow their territories to be used to the detriment of Afghanistan's security," adding that the Afghan authorities have evidence of such activities.
The Afghan authorities do not allow terrorists to use its territory to attack other countries, but they are infiltrating Afghanistan from abroad illegally, the head of the Taliban’s* political office in Qatar, Suhail Shaheen, told Sputnik on Friday.
On Wednesday, following the summit in Russia's Kazan, BRICS leaders issued a statement calling for more substantial action in Afghanistan to prevent terrorists from using the country's territory.

"As for the BRICS call not to use the territory of Afghanistan against others, we certainly do not allow anyone to do so. However, I want to say that members of the Daesh* are well-trained, armed and infiltrated from neighboring countries for subversive activities in Afghanistan," Shaheen said.

*The Taliban is listed as a terrorist organization by the United Nations in UNSCR 1267
*Daesh (also known as ISIS/ISIL/IS) is a terrorist organization outlawed in Russia and many other states
