Energy is seen by many as a promising area for Russia-Africa cooperation, as the African continent is now moving toward large-scale industrialization.
African countries will negotiate solar and natural gas projects with Russia during the Russian Energy Week International Forum in Moscow, the executive chairman of the African Energy Chamber, NJ Ayuk, told Sputnik on the sidelines of the event.

"There's going to be a big discussion around solar projects in Africa, looking around Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, with Russian companies that are going to look at a lot more investment in building solar plants around there and solar farms," NJ Ayuk said.
