The US succeeded in destabilizing Ukraine and Europe, but Russia remained resilient, according to Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian politician.Medvedchuk said that the EU leadership was eventually overpowered by Washington and London, prompting a "cunning plan" from European leaders, including former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former French President Francois Hollande, and current French President Emmanuel Macron.According to Medvedchuk, one of the reasons for Russian resilience is the lack of agents of influence who could lobby American and British interests in Russia.

The Minsk Agreements, signed in 2015, outlined commitments for Ukraine and the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics to take reciprocal steps in politics, security, and the humanitarian and socio-economic spheres.
The US succeeded in destabilizing Ukraine and Europe, but
Russia remained resilient, according to Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian politician.
"The Minsk agreements were beneficial to the EU, but it could not force Ukraine to implement them; the UK and the US, who really wanted to start a war, prevented it," the leader of the "Other Ukraine" movement told media.
Medvedchuk said that the EU leadership was eventually overpowered by
Washington and London, prompting a "cunning plan" from European leaders, including former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former French President Francois Hollande, and current French President Emmanuel Macron.
"In reality, the cunning plan was to destabilize the situation on Russia's borders and then in Russia itself. [...] The US managed to break Ukraine and Europe, but not Russia," said, Ukrainian politician.
According to Medvedchuk, one of the reasons for Russian resilience is the lack of agents of influence who could lobby American and British interests in Russia.
