MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Earlier in the day, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi told the Financial Times that he intends to visit the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) next week.
The visit of International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi to the Kursk NPP is likely to take place at the beginning of next week, not at the end of it, Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said on Wednesday.

"The Director General of the IAEA has indicated in the public space his intention to visit the Kursk NPP next week. I suspect that, most likely, the visit will take place at the beginning, and not at the end of next week," Ulyanov said on Telegram.

Russia to Use Harsh Military Measures in Case of Ukraine's Plan for Man-Made Disaster
On August 16, reports surfaced that Ukrainian forces may be planning a nuclear provocation that could involve the use of a so-called dirty bomb. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it takes very seriously information about Ukraine’s plans to attack the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.
Kiev apparently intends to blame this attack on Russia and claim that it was meant to create a pretext for strikes against Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
The Russian military-civilian administration for the Kharkov Region reported that several captured Ukrainian militants claimed Ukraine plans to attack Russian nuclear facilities, with Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant being named as possible targets for these attacks.
