MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso earlier told Sputnik that he discussed during his visit to Moscow with Russian oil company Lukoil its participation in oil and gas projects in the republic as an operator, and he sees good prospects for it.
The Republic of the Congo is interested in joint projects with Russian companies in hydro, solar and nuclear energy fields, president Denis Sassou Nguesso said in an interview with Sputnik.

"This morning, we held talks with Russian companies that are interested in implementing these projects. This concerns electricity production. There are huge opportunities in hydro, solar and civilian nuclear energy. We are negotiating with Russian companies on these issues," the president said.
