"We feel at home, among friends," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during his visit to Burkina Faso.Having arrived in Burkina Faso's capital Ouagadougou on the evening of June 4, Lavrov praised the "warm welcome" at a meeting with his Burkinabe counterpart.Ties between the two countries are booming, he said, adding that Moscow thanks Ouagadougou for its help in resuming embassy activities. The minister noted that Burkina Faso is the first African country to cooperate quickly and effectively.The Russian House, recently opened in the West African country, will continue to bring the two countries closer together, the top diplomat underlined. Various joint projects are currently underway, he highlighted.Lavrov will be received on June 5 by the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traoré, according to the Burkinabe media. A press conference is also planned.Burkina Faso is the third country after the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of the Congo that the Russian foreign minister visited as part of his African tour, which kicked off on Monday.

"We feel at home, among friends," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during his visit to Burkina Faso.
Having arrived in Burkina Faso's capital Ouagadougou on the evening of June 4,
