Western countries by actively participating in the hostilities in Ukraine are leading the situation to the Third World War, said Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council. The number of those who support Ukraine and are ready to supply it with weapons is growing, and thus these top officials of NATO countries are "actively pushing us towards a third world war," Medvedev stated. He went on to say that Russia may consider British military instructors and German defense factories as legitimate targets if Berlin and London continue to get involved in the fighting in Ukraine. The politician, in particular, cited as an example the idea of the chair of the Defense Committee at the German Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine so that the Kiev regime could strike at Russian territory to weaken the supply of its army.Strack-Zimmermann recently stated that international law permits Ukraine to attack military targets on Russian territory, irrespective of the origin or provider of these weapons. Moreover, she advised German Chancellor Olaf Scholz against any further delay in sending missiles to Ukraine, after a six-month discussion.Medvedev also drew attention to the proposal made by British Defense Minister Grant Shapps to relocate the English training programs for Ukrainian troops to Ukraine. After a visit to Kiev last week, the new Defense Secretary declared that Britain will ramp up its training program for Ukrainian soldiers. Shapps stated that he discussed with army leadership the possibility of shifting "increased training and production" of military equipment into Ukraine. Additionally, he urged British defense companies to establish factories in Ukraine. In early June, Kiev launched a counteroffensive against the Russian Armed Forces. So far, there are no results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, according to the Russian president, while the supply of weapons and foreign mercenaries and advisers do not help Kiev break through the front of the Russian army.

Top Officials of NATO Countries 'Pushing Russia Into World War 3': Russian Security Council
10:49 01.10.2023 (Updated: 11:43 01.10.2023) Politicians from around the world, including those from Russia and the Global South, have repeatedly insisted that the continued Western military support for Ukraine won't help resolve the situation and will only prolong the conflict.
Western countries by actively participating in the hostilities in Ukraine are leading the situation to the Third World War, said Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
The number of those who support Ukraine and are ready to supply it with weapons is growing, and thus these top officials of NATO countries are "actively pushing us towards a
third world war," Medvedev stated.
He went on to say that Russia may consider British military instructors and German defense factories as legitimate targets if Berlin and London continue to get involved in the fighting in Ukraine.
The politician, in particular, cited as an example the idea of the chair of the Defense Committee at the German Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine so that the Kiev regime could strike at Russian territory to weaken the supply of its army.
"They say that this is in accordance with international law. Well, in this case, attacks on German factories where these missiles are made will be fully in accordance with international law," he said.
Strack-Zimmermann recently stated that international law permits Ukraine to attack
military targets on Russian territory, irrespective of the origin or provider of these weapons. Moreover, she advised German Chancellor Olaf Scholz against any further delay in sending missiles to Ukraine, after a six-month discussion.
Medvedev also drew attention to the proposal made by British Defense Minister Grant Shapps to relocate the English training programs for Ukrainian troops to Ukraine.
"It means making their instructors a legal target for our forces, knowing that they will be mercilessly destroyed. And not as mercenaries, but as British NATO specialists," he stressed.
After a visit to Kiev last week, the new Defense Secretary declared that
Britain will ramp up its training program for Ukrainian soldiers.
