African Economies Expected to Grow Faster Than Asia in 2026: UN
While average growth in sub-Saharan Africa is projected to reach 4.6% in 2026, growth in the combined Asian economies is expected to slow to around 4.1% over the same period, according to the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
Currently, the region boasts growth rates close to 6%, significantly exceeding the African average, estimated at 4.1%.
To reach these conclusions, the commission refers to figures from the IMF.
