"We are confident that these are the necessary conditions for accelerating economic integration, empowering women and youth, building resilience to climate change and achieving the energy transition," said Angolan President João Lourenço.
According to him, in order to ensure that "Africa's voice is heard" in global politics, the continent is called upon to actively participate in reforming key international institutions.
Lourenço also pointed to the worsening global challenges, including food, energy and humanitarian ones, which are causing increased migration flows and rising unemployment.
