Sputnik is live as US President Donald Trump meets with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday.
The Kremlin announced a one-on-one between the presidents, followed by talks with five envoys from each side. The summit includes a working breakfast and concludes with a joint press conference.
Trump and Putin will hold their meeting at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson on the northern outskirts of Anchorage in the US state of Alaska. This is the leaders' first face-to-face meeting since Trump’s reelection, and their last summit in 2019.
