Mali's Ex-PM Moussa Mara Detained for Criticizing Military Government in Social Media Post

Following several summonses this month regarding a July 4 social media post, Mara was charged by a cybercrimes unit with undermining the state and spreading false information.

His trial is scheduled for September 29.

Mara held the office of Prime Minister of Mali for a nine-month period in 2015.
