Elimination of the Ukrainian troops in Russia's Kursk region is Zelensky's defeat on all fronts, Aydın Sezer, political analyst and ex-Turkish trade envoy in Moscow, told Sputnik.
"Zelensky no longer has a narrative at the negotiating table that he will use to influence Trump, the West, and the UK," he said.
Kiev launched its attack on the Kursk region, aided by Western countries, particularly the UK, to gain a bargaining chip for future talks—a bargaining chip it is currently stripped of, the expert noted.
"I suppose that in the near future we will become witnesses to positive results of Trump's actions to achieve peace in Ukraine," he added.
