Palestinian Hamas movement is ready for ceasefire talks in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages, the head of the movement, Khalil al-Hayya, said.
"The movement underscores its readiness to immediately begin negotiations that would allow the release of all [Israeli] hostages and our prisoners, whose release was agreed upon, in exchange for a complete end to the war and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces," al-Hayya said in an address.
Meanwhile, over 30 people were reportedly killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Friday morning.
