Gabonese Transitional President Brice Oligui Nguema Wins Presidential Election: Country's Interior Ministry
Nguema received 90.35% of the votes, Minister of Interior and Security Herman Immongault said.
Nguema's main rival, former Prime Minister Alain Claude Bilie By Nze, came in second with 3.02 percent.
In total, more than 920,000 voters were registered, including over 28,000 abroad. According to Immongault, the voting turnout was 70.4%.
