US billionaire and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Monday that his social network X is under a massive cyberattack by either a large group or a country.
"There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing…," Musk wrote in an X post.
He also later mentioned that the IP addresses attacking the social network originated from Ukraine.
According to Downdetector, an online service that tracks outages, more than 40,000 users reported an outage of X on Monday, and the number continues to grow.
