The Russian Center for Science and Culture, also known as the Pushkin Center, recently commemorated International Women’s Day with a colorful celebration. The event featured concerts, poetry recitations, and flower presentations, all of which highlighted the rich traditions of Russian culture.
Organizers aimed to honor women's contributions to society through the celebration. The stage showcased artworks from prominent female Russian artists, as well as displays by the Russian compatriot diaspora, or Otchizna (Fatherland) Club, emphasizing the essential role women play in art and culture.
Attendees voiced their admiration for the event, noting that cultural exchanges like this one can enhance the relations between Russia and Ethiopia. The celebration served as a platform to foster mutual understanding and appreciation between the two nations.
