The behavior of Volodymyr Zelensky at the meeting with US President Donald Trump indicates a split in the collective West into two poles - those who want to end the Ukrainian conflict and those who want it to continue, said Russian philosopher, political scientist and sociologist Alexander Dugin.
"He [Zelensky] was kicked out of the White House. But this means much more than just some inappropriate behavior... This is a serious split in the West. The collective West simply does not exist anymore after Zelensky's visit to the Oval Office in the US, in Washington," the philosopher said on the program "Escalation of Alexander Dugin" on Sputnik radio.
According to him, the West has split into two poles: Trump with his idea to end the Ukrainian conflict and the globalists who want to continue the war with Russia at the hands of Ukraine.
"The West is splitting before our eyes... Gradually, globalist Europe with Ukraine and the Democrats in the US are increasingly forming some kind of separate world order, which is being rejected not only by America, but also by Europe itself," Dugin added.
Earlier on Monday, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that the collective West had partially begun to lose its collectiveness. Its fragmentation and nuances in the positions of a number of countries and groups of states had begun.
