WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky has refused an offer by the United States to give Washington rights to 50% of Ukraine's future mineral resources, Washington Post journalist Josh Rogin reported on Friday.

The US Congressional delegation at the Munich Security Conference presented Zelensky with a document that would give the US rights to half of Ukraine's future mineral reserves, Rogin wrote on X, citing multiple lawmakers in Munich. The delegation wanted the Ukrainian president to sign the deal, but Zelensky is said to have declined to do so.
