MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Following Trump's rise to power, his administration increased its efforts to curb irregular migration by giving US Immigration and Customs Enforcement broader authority to detain undocumented individuals, including in sensitive areas like churches, hospitals, and schools.

The White House used a Valentine's Day card to warn illegal immigrants of deportation.
"Roses are red, violets are blue. Come here illegally and we'll deport you," the White House said in the card posted on X.
The message was reinforced by stern-faced images of US President Donald Trump and border czar Tom Homan.
