In an interview with Sputnik Africa, Konstantin Babkin, President of the Russian Association of Specialized Equipment Manufacturers "Rosspetsmash" and co-owner of the agricultural machinery manufacturer "Rostselmash," said that the company currently supplies equipment to about 10 African countries, including:

Zimbabwe
South Africa

According to Babkin, to ensure suitability, Rostselmash equipment is easily adaptable to African conditions with adjustments such as improved air conditioning and sand protection, tailored to specific environments like in Sudan and Egypt. He noted that the company offers a personalized approach, adapting machinery to each client's unique needs and providing comprehensive lifecycle support.
To support this, Rostselmash trains local dealers at its academy for three months, enabling them to effectively service and maintain the equipment in their home countries.
Finally, Babkin noted that political cooperation, exemplified by Egypt's free economic zone agreement and state support in Libya, significantly aids Rostselmash's business. The company's success is evidenced by repeat business in countries like Egypt, Algeria, and Sudan, demonstrating customer satisfaction and a sustained presence in those markets.
