Trump Reportedly Talks to Putin on Phone About Ukraine, Kremlin Can 'Neither Confirm nor Deny'

US President Donald Trump reportedly talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone about Ukraine, according to US media. However, the Kremlin said it could "neither confirm nor deny" the information.
According to US media, US President Donald Trump did not answer a question about how many times he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin;
The US leader added that the conflict would not have happened if he had been president in 2022;
He said he had a specific plan to end the fighting: "I hope it's fast. [...] I want to end this damn thing;"
Trump proposed to "get [...] meetings going."
The Kremlin previously stated that there had been no discussions between Russian and US authorities about a possible meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
