The conflict between the DRC government and rebel forces has intensified in recent weeks and has become the center of international attention. The escalated conflict has reportedly led to the deaths of over a hundred soldiers.

Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno expressed solidarity with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), "following the worrying development of the situation" in the country.

"Chad calls for respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the DRC," the president wrote on his social networks.

The president emphasized that regional and international organizations, particularly the UN and the AU, should take action to "preserve peace and security in the DRC" and "ensure respect for international laws in this area."
