Russian President Vladimir Putin and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico discussed bilateral relations and energy issues at talks in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
"Yesterday, Putin held talks with Fico. [...] They also talked about energy and gas issues. A rather detailed conversation took place," Peskov told reporters.
Putin also shared with Fico his vision of the situation in Ukraine, and the course of Russia's special operation, the spokesman said.
According to Fico, Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia's willingness to continue supplying gas to Europe and Slovakia. The Kremlin has yet to comment on the visit.
Earlier, Peskov stated that the visit of the prime minister of Slovakia to Moscow was planned several days in advance.
