The development of a multipolar world enhances investment opportunities in Russia for foreign businessmen, a Nigerian entrepreneur Clever Oghenerobo Light told Sputnik on the sidelines of the VTB "Russia Calling!" Investment Forum held in Moscow.

"I'm looking at the multipolar world today, a lot of changes in the world," he said.

The investment and cooperation between different countries and Russia didn't start just now, and it will never stop, even though many companies have left the country, the speaker noted.

"We're trying to maximize the opportunity, understanding that a lot of countries actually have left Russia, which means it's an opportunity for other countries to actually come in. And this is what we've been doing for the past three years," he said, emphasizing that while slow and steady, the business activities in Russia have been successful.

Bilateral dollar-free trade with Russian companies is possible, despite some difficulties, as other systems of payments exist now, the businessman added.
"There are systems of payment through the Middle East right now that makes it possible, through the Chinese yuan also that has been going on, and it keeps getting better," Light explained.
According to the speaker, it would be more convenient for Nigerian businessmen to make settlements with Russian companies in the national currency, and it can be beneficial for Russia as well.
