The IX BRICS Young Scientists Forum will be held in Russia's Sirius Federal Territory on November 25-29, the press service of the association said.
According to the program of the forum, the event aims to develop international youth ties, consolidate scientific knowledge to solve common social problems, and strengthen the role of BRICS in the world arena in science and technology. The event will be attended by more than 170 talented researchers and outstanding representatives of the scientific youth community of the association's countries.
The sessions this year will be dedicated to four topics: artificial intelligence (AI), digital humanities, environmental climate technologies, nature-like and convergent technologies as a driving force for a sustainable future.
The program also includes organizing the 7th BRICS Young Innovators Prize competition, in which talented young entrepreneurs and researchers from the countries of the association take part annually.
The goal of the competition is to identify the best research and innovation projects that will make a significant contribution to the development of global science and economics, as well as to involve as many young scientists as possible in international scientific and technical cooperation.
The 16th BRICS Summit took place in Kazan, Russia, from October 22 to 24. This summit was particularly significant as it marked the first time Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the UAE participated as members, following their accession in January. More than 32 countries, including the full members, took part in the summit.
