The Russian humanitarian cooperation agency Rossotrudnuchestvo is working on opening partner Russian Houses in Congo and Cote d'Ivoire, Kirill Bogomolov, Deputy Head of the Russian humanitarian cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo, told Sputnik on the sidelines of the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Russia's Sochi.
Partner Russian Houses are non-governmental and are opened by private individuals, companies and NGOs, Bogomolov said.
"Together with our colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we assess the reliability of our potential partners. If everything is fine, we sign an agreement. For us, this is an opportunity to quickly open up in those countries with which intergovernmental agreements have not been signed," he noted.
Partner centers already exist in:
Algeria
Burkina Faso
Guinea
Mali
Niger
Somalia
Sierra Leone
The Central African Republic
Equatorial Guinea
