Rossotrudnuchestvo is working on an intergovernmental agreement with Mali to open a Russian House in Bamako, Kirill Bogomolov told Sputnik on the sidelines of the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Russia's Sochi, noting that the agreement has not been signed yet.
Bogomolov noted that the Russian agency is already represented in eight African countries:
He noted that in January, Russia and Angola signed an agreement to establish the conditions for the operation of mutual cultural centers.
According to Yevgeny Primakov, Rossotrudnichestvo's Head, agreements on the establishment of Russian Houses are being prepared with organizations from around 40 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, the Central African Republic, Chad and Equatorial Guinea among others.
