"Donald Trump doesn't care about Africa; he's said that repeatedly, and in fact, he didn't mention Africa once in his entire presidential campaign," the Pan-Africanist said.
"Because at least it means that he will leave us alone, that he's not going to focus on us," the activist explained.

"People [in Africa] have woken up; they are looking for reliable information, and they know that reliable information is not coming from the Western mainstream media," the expert noted.
"The freedom of speech that they are trying to suppress is breaking out more and more. The more you try to suppress something, the more it breaks out and one day it explodes. These things can't work. They [the West] can prolong the agony, but they are dying," she stressed.

"Today, these institutions are blackmailing Africa. They shamelessly use coercive instruments with no legal basis to tell Africa: if you want us to finance such and such a thing, then you have to agree to pass pro-LGBT laws; you have to decriminalize homosexuality," the speaker pointed out.
"I think that's why Africans are very interested in what's happening in the BRICS, in the alternative that the BRICS could offer, even in terms of means of payment, means of financing, the BRICS’ New Development Bank, the whole system that's being built insensibly alongside and that could be an alternative to a system that was built on bases that are totally obsolete today," she concluded.
