This move is part of international efforts to pressure Israel into complying with international law and humanitarian law, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated. The call aims to protect civilians and stop what Egypt considers to be "Israeli violations" against Palestinians.
On Monday, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, labeled Turkey as "malice" for spearheading the initiative, which was signed by 52 countries.
