Death Toll in Spain From Heavy Rains, Floods Rises to 92, Emergency Center Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The death toll in the Spanish autonomous community of Valencia has risen to 92 due to heavy rains and flooding, the region's emergency coordination center said on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, Spanish broadcaster RTVE reported that the death toll in Valencia had reached 70, and two people had been killed in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha because of heavy rains and flooding.
"New assessment by various security and emergency bodies and forces: the preliminary death toll is 92. The process of recovery and identification of victims is ongoing," the center said on its social media.
