The Fars news agency said that Israel has struck a number of military bases in the west and southwest of Tehran.
On October 1, Iran fired several hundred ballistic missiles at Israel following the deaths of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas political head Ismail Haniyeh, and top commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (elite units of the Armed Forces) Abbas Nilforoushan.
