In an exclusive interview with Sputnik, Bolivian President Luis Arce shared an optimistic perspective on the BRICS summit in Kazan, praising the alliance’s potential to strengthen global multipolarity and establish new partnerships.
“My impressions are extremely positive. First of all, it is an opportunity to be here together with other countries […] in which we have the opportunity to speak, to be heard, and to share our proposals on the path we should take,” Arce remarked on the sidelines of the event, reflecting on the summit.
The Bolivian leader emphasized the importance of demonstrating that alternatives to traditional global alliances exist.
“It is important to consolidate [positions] and to show the entire planet that there is an alternative,” he stated, pointing to BRICS as an evolving group that welcomes new members eager to drive multipolar growth.
Calling the gathering a “historic day,” Arce commended the interest shown by countries worldwide, underscoring that the BRICS vision is widely embraced.
“Many countries have come to this BRICS summit […] and this shows that not only Russia is not alone, but BRICS is not alone […]. There are many countries that want to be part of it,” the president concluded.
