Burkina Faso Prime Minister to Begin Trip to Russia on Tuesday

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Burkina Faso Economic Days Forum, to be held in Moscow from October 8 to 11, aims to attract investment to Burkina Faso and promote business-to-business ties between the two countries, particularly in the areas of mineral extraction, energy, infrastructure, and agriculture.

Burkina Faso's prime minister, Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambela, will travel to Russia on Tuesday for a four-day visit, and he will take part in the Burkina Faso Economic Days Forum.

Kyelem de Tambela will head the western African nation’s delegation, which includes the ministers of transport, energy, economy, and communications. He is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
