'I Have Everything I Need to Be a Great Champion': Congolese Gymnast on Her Training in Russia

In June, young gymnasts in the Republic of Congo competed in a tournament named after Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva at the Brazzaville National Gymnastics Center. Sputnik Africa spoke with the tournament winner about her current studies in Russia.

Rhythmic gymnast Kenko Sita Davina Chancelvie expressed her joy to Sputnik Africa about training at Russia's Sky Grace Academy, owned by renowned gymnast and two-time world champion Alina Kabaeva.
An opportunity that was presented to Chancelvie after her victory in early June in the first national tournament in honor of Alina Kabaeva in Brazzaville.
"My dream is to be a great gymnastics champion like Alina Kabaeva. I will give my best to make it happen," she said.
Her coach, Dominique Adama Bienvenue, shared the same enthusiasm and would like children from the academy to participate in the 2nd edition of the Kabaeva tournament in Congo.
