Donald Trump ruled out on Sunday running for president in 2028 if he were to lose this November's race.
"No, I do not. I do not see that at all; I think, hopefully, we are going to be successful," Trump told investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson on the Full Measure show when asked about his plans for running again if this time around was unsuccessful.
Trump has already been the target of assassination attempts twice during the campaign. In July, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The second shooting occurred later in September at Trump's golf club in Florida.
