Ugandan Vice President Jessica Alupo expressed Uganda's readiness to establish direct flights with Russia during a meeting with Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko on the sidelines of the Eurasian Women's Forum.
The signing of such agreements would facilitate the movement of people, goods, services, and investments between the countries, said Ugandan Vice President Jessica Alupo.
Earlier, the vice president had invited Russian companies to invest in the oil, gas, and energy sectors of the African nation.
