Musk Calls Putin’s Decision to Back Harris in 2024 US Presidential Race ‘Interesting’

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will back Kamala Harris on the recommendation of US President Joe Biden, whom Putin said was Russia’s previous favorite in the race. However, Putin clarified that the American people will ultimately decide their president in November.

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Friday that Putin’s statement in support of US Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential election bid is interesting.

"Interesting," Musk said via the social media platform X, in response to a post about Putin’s support of Harris.

At the same time, Republican nominee and former US President Donald Trump said that he is unsure how to react to Putin’s endorsement of Harris.
