Over 40 African Countries Have Military-Technical Partnerships with Russia, Rosoboronexport CEO says

Rosoboronexpor serves as Russia's exclusive state-controlled intermediary for the trade of military and dual-use products, technologies, and services.

According to Alexander Mikheev, general director of Russia's state-owned defense industry giant, more than 40 countries on the African continent are currently engaged in military-technical cooperation with Russia.

"Africa today is one of the main areas in the strategy for developing military-technical cooperation with foreign countries. More than 40 countries cooperate with us. [...] Basically, of course, this is equipment, the air force, air defense, helicopters, small arms, electronic warfare," says Alexander Mikheev.
