Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister, Jean-Marie Karamoko Traoré, condemned Ukraine's "complicity with terrorists in northern Mali through various forms of support" during the 50th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Council of Foreign Ministers.
Traoré called on the United Nations Security Council to "take its responsibilities and implement all necessary measures to address Ukraine's deliberate and admitted subversive actions in the recent situation in northern Mali."
Members of the Alliance of Sahel States also sent a letter to the president of the United Nations Security Council condemning Ukrainian support for terrorist groups operating in the Sahel region.
