Earlier in the day, Fars reported, citing a source in the country's state security agencies, that Raisi's helicopter carried two passengers more than the established regulations on the day of the crash. The agency also reported that the helicopter crashed due to bad weather, so the pilot could not gain the right height and crashed into the mountains.
