In July, the UK Defense Ministry said that more than 42,000 Ukrainian soldiers had been trained in the UK since June 2022.
"Of course, it is worth mentioning the active involvement of the British in the preparation and implementation of military and sabotage operations of the Ukrainian armed forces, not to mention the significant influence on the Ukrainian leadership," Kelin said.
The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier that more than 800 Britons traveled to Ukraine to fight against Russia, Kelin recalled, adding that of that number, 360 servicemen were reportedly killed.
