The cost of an electronic tourist visa (e-Visa) for Ethiopia has been reduced by $20, according to a media report.
Previously priced at $82, it can now be obtained for $62.
This comes after the Ethiopian government last revised their online visa fees in February 2023, when all visa costs were increased by $30. Despite this reduction for tourists, other visa categories—such as Investment, Workshop/Conference, Journalist, and Visa extension—remain unchanged.
However, since last November, Ethiopia no longer issues 90-day long-stay electronic tourist visas. Currently, e-Visas are only available for stays of up to 30 days in the country.
